A great personal trainer equals a great person

Dear personal training colleagues, in order for us to be great personal trainers we have to be great people. For us to encourage our clients, we have to be encouraged. How can we motivate our clients, if we are not motivated?
Our clients feed off of our energy, so we have to be positive. We can not motivate them if we are depressed and stressed. The majority of them already come to us in those states, so we can not be in it with them. They come to us to lose weight, get in great shape and condition; they also come to us to get motivated, feel good about themselves, relieve stress, and get out of depression. We are valuable to our clients. We have to let them know that we care about their well being, and that we are not in business just for their money. When people see that you care, they will not only pay you well, but will also bring more potential clients to your business. A caring and great heart draws many people!
Therefore, when we train our clients, let us be in good moods. Goodness is contagious, when our clients see that we are in a good mood, they are going to be in a good mood. We are their motivational role models! We must be excited when we train them! Positive people and positive energy equals a positive environment, and success for our personal training industry.
Remember as personal trainers we are not just important to our clients, but to the world. Stay uplifted!
