AAPT, NPTT, and SETS

by Amber
(Texas)

I am looking for a certification program where I can start working and know what I am doing when I become certified. I found some similarities between these three certification programs. Does anyone know which one is better?

I am also planning on earning my 4-year degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition. I have other school loans from a previous 4-year degree and would like to pay those off while I am obtaining my second four year degree in Exercise Science. I think by going through AAPT, NPTT, or SETS I would have a better chance of being well prepared to be a personal trainer and therefore make more money so I can pay off my school loans.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this as compare to getting a certificate through one of the other programs that are not as intense and the preparation I would have?

Thanks so much!
