Ace exam full of subjectivity

by john
(washington dc)

I took the ACE exam and failed by 20 points. I am disappointed because I studied for months in preparation but the study material that ACE sells DOES NOT prepare you for the exam.

I really don't like questions that have 2 or 3 correct answers. I guess I'm old school because when Ive taken tests before either there is a right answer or a wrong one--period. I mean whats the purpose for a MOST correct answer? And do I get part credit if I choose not the MOST but the MORE correct answer? I think not.

This exam needs to be simplified and more conducive to learning.

You are correct. I just took the exam today and failed by 8 miserable points. The test was totally subjective, nothing I studied prepared me for this test.

The simulation part of the test was also confusing. The test is hard as it is, and there was no one on the test cite to answer or point your to the right direction

FAiled AGAIN!!
by: Sudege

Well I have an MBA and this test is driving me CRAZY !! I failed by 7 points and my problem is that I was well prepared and confident that I passed .It was my second time and they were the same questions and not sure what are the right answers :

I'm Not Afraid to say.... IT WAS HARD
by: Anonymous

It is easier to pass this test by taking some of the Ace's workshops or "purchase" additional study guides, workshops, tests,or online classes. I took the online seminars which REALLY helped me pass. I don't think I would have passed without them. I took the entire series they offered at $20.00 a seminar. Worth it and I passed the first time. I also studied in the evenings for about 2-3 hours a night for 8 months. I felt I knew the books, manuals extremely well, but still the seminars gave me the important information and they are given by certified Ace Instructors who KNOW the test. I agree with a lot of the comments on how strange this test is. They touch on the subjects you studied forever.... but the question and answers aren't CLEAR. Could be this ...could be that one.... this answer is true but so is this... that is how I felt throughout the test. My advice is to go in confident in what you know and APPLY it to the questions. BUT "BUY" what Ace is selling.....I didn't want to take the test ever again.
