ACE or ACSM Certification

I am a Stay at Home Mom who wants to enter the Personal Training industry. I have been out of school for some time now. Which certification would you suggest? Thanks

Gyms ewon't hire ISSA Cert.

The ISSA Certification is a good fit for me. But several gyms in my area will not hire with this certification. That is why I am not sure what to do.

ACSM is far superior

The ACSM exam is the gold-standard of the personal training certifications. It is more comprehensive than the ACE exam, and more more difficult to pass.

The exercise physiology is very detailed and thorough; if you are one of those "big picture" type people, it is best to choose ACE which deals more in generalities, but is seen as a joke to insiders.
