ACE or NCSF or NSCA

by Celina
(Los Angeles, CA)

I live in Los Angeles and am eager to pursue a career in personal training. I've read through your site thoroughly but am still unsure as to which NCCA accredited certification program I should take. I am new to this field and as such am leaning more toward ACE first, then working toward NSCA... I read in one of your posts that NCSF is somewhere between the two. Have you a suggestion that might help make my decision?

Your website has been extremely informative for me.

ACE or NCSF or NSCA

If you are BRAND new to the fitness industry with no experience, ACE would be a good one to start with. I went with NASM as a starting certification and then passed the ACSM cert. I'm currently studying for the NSCA cert. Whichever direction you decide to go, don't stop at one certification. Make this a lifetime study and keep learning!
