ACSM certification is not an entry level cert

If you are in it for some quick money, just get an easier certification and find clients on your own. You can make $50 an hour easily and they won't know the difference in your certification compared to a cert from ACSM. But if you want to be a really good trainer then ACSM certification is a good choice.

ACSM cert is for advanced personal trainers
by: Katie - Admin

While I wouldn't recommend ACSM certification as an entry level cert, it is a great choice for a second certification after you have a couple of years experience working as a personal trainer. Hopefully the quick money is not what you are looking for. We have enough trainers looking for quick money that don't last a year and end up turning off their clients. Hopefully, the public will become aware of the premium standard that ACSM certification holds and will reward personal trainers financially for attaining this cert.
