AFAA Cert offered at a discount at my gym ($351.75)

The gym I belong to at the University of Kentucky is offering this cert to their members for $351.75....
that is a good discount over the usual $469.

But, is it worth it? Katie mentions that her rating tables were last updated in *** editor's note: Cert tables are continually updated as changes occur and are up to date ***, and the intensity of the training has changed since then.

Does anyone have any recent experience with the AFAA, as far as how the certification is recognized in the industry?

In short, should I take advantage of this discount, or would I be better off saving my money and getting the ACE and ACSM certs?
This offer is coming up soon, December 4, 5 and 6.
