AFAA Workshop & Exam

The AFAA Personal Trainer Workshop was well worth it! I was certified with AFAA for Group Exercise and decided to also experience the Personal Trainer Certification. Before the workshop, I read the book, completed my study guide and studied online (the ideal pupil, right?). However, the actual workshop was far beyond that. It certainly could just be my learning style and/or a great Instructor, but I can't imagine taking the exam without the extra training. I had a much better understanding of the concepts/application and was able to ask questions and review points that were confusing. Go AFAA! I highly recommend this over an all-online certification.
