Considering NPTI Certification

by SKI
(Puyallup, WA, USA)

I am planning to open a fitness center for 50+. Does NPTI have specialize training for 50+ older populations, patients with arthritis, nutritional education programs for diabetics and obesity?

Thank you for your feedback.

100 hours of nutrition
by: Katie - Admin

Looking over their program description I see that 100 of the 500 hours is covering nutrition related topics so I think you will be well prepared. There isn't any special mention of special populations but I suspect it is integrated throughout the whole program. It would be difficult to not cover something as basic as special populations in a 500 hour course.

NPTI and over 50
by: Sue

I am about halfway of my NPTI certification. Many students in our class are not out for the 'big pipes' effect. I am 50+ and so happy I am in this program. There are students whom are going into the rehabilitation field and to be trainers at Senior Living Centers. You will not be disappointed with NPTI. It covers everything in detail - as it should. You will have total confidence to address every kind of client.
