Finding an Attorney for my personal trainer forms

by Cindy
(Louisville, KY)

I have made up all of the legal forms I need for my personal training business, and now I'm looking for an attorney to review them and make sure they cover me completely. What type of attorney should I be looking for? I noticed there are business attorneys, health care attorneys, contract attorneys, liability attorneys, etc.

All of those sound like they would know what they are doing, but I want to make sure that whoever I use is knowledgeable on liability and injury. How can I find the right attorney?

personal trainer forms
by: Alexandra

Any attny who deals with contracts/agreements should be able to give the contracts a once over to make sure everything is covered. They just need to make sure you as a personal trainer are covered or at least that your liability is limited.

Attorney to review contracts for personal training business
by: Charles Weller - FITNESS LAWYER

If you're looking for an attorney to review contracts for your business, you want to make sure you find an attorney who is experienced with your industry. There are issues common to all personal training businesses, and without proper planning, you do not want to be in the situation where you overlook a crucial issue. While any contract or business attorney can do a proper document review, make sure they understand the specifics of your business. When in doubt, consult with an attorney who specializes in fitness law.
