Helping people help themselves

One of the most rewarding things about being a personal trainer is helping people believe in themselves and achieve their goals. While its a simple idea, giving someone the push to find their own inner strength and motivation to attain their goals gives me a sense of purpose and makes me feel like I am making a difference. You also constantly get to see positive change in people which generally makes you a happier person. Often, the change you bring about in a person's life is not limited to the gym (ie. bring about a lifestyle change that comes from their boost in self-esteem) which can me extremely satisfying to watch.

This is why I want to become a Trainer!
by: Tess

A former life-long sofa-slug, who believed I could never follow through with anything I started, this comment really resonates strongly with my own experience.

Two years ago, 40 lbs over weight, sick and miserable, I decided to change my lifestyle and become fit, and to do it all on my own to prove to myself that I could. In that time, I have lost my excess weight, toned up my body and regained the measurements I last had in my early 20's (and I'm almost 50 now.)

Experiencing the changes in my own outlook, self confidence, and ability to set and reach goals has been life-changing. I want to become a personal trainer to assist others in finding that glowing core of strength, confidence and self-acceptance within themselves.
