Just passed the NASM exam!

(Austin, TX)

First off, whoever created this site is awesome because it helped me so very, very much. The exam was hard and not hard all at the same time. I passed the exam my first time around.

My tips would be to take your time and make sure you know the text. The videos can be a little confusing since they obviously missed some things updating it from the old version to the new version, but were still helpful. Read the book, do the study guide, and take the practice exam as many times as you can. I took the practice exam 5 times and found that to be extremely beneficial.

Also the post titled, "NASM Study Tips - I found to be the best resource," is a great resource and helped me out a lot. When taking the test, use the full two hours to your advantage. I finished the exam in about an hour and used the other hour to go over the exam again and found that I had answered a few questions incorrectly. Also, I made flash cards of all the vocabulary words in the book and found that to be extremely helpful. Hope this helps.

Good luck everyone!
