Marketing to brides-to-be

by Ty
(Columbia, SC)

I am an ACE certified personal trainer who is pretty much trying to find my way out of the 9-5 world and become my own boss. My current vision is to start a bridal personal training business and target brides-to-be and their bridal parties with 1:1 training, group training, and boot camps. I think that this is a great niche to target as they are willing to spend money to look good for their wedding day. What do you guys think? Do you think this is a good idea? Do you have any suggestions as far as marketing and advertising go? Thanks.

Brides

Hi, I'm doing the same in the UK. I've got a list of all the wedding fairs coming up and going to pay a price for floor space but just go along with your leaflets and some db's a ball a few other bits of kit and get some posters made up advertise your website and basically look glamorous yourself, set out all your diet and fitness programs so that you can explain how it all works grab them as they walk past! you could advertise in bridal mags, or ask the bridal fair if they are doing bags for the brides and can you put in flyers (usually at a cost). I've got a website and have put a page on it for brides www.personal-training.org.uk, have a look might help. Thats kind of what i'm going to do. Good luck

Brides to be
by: Raul

Hi Ty,

I'm doing research into which niche market to focus on. I have thought of brides to be as one niche. I have some questions for you, if you could reply I would appreciate it.

As far as marketing to them, you can work the bridal fairs as mentioned as well as go to the bridal shops and see if you can do something with them as well as set up a table to talk to prospective clients.
