Pass the NCSF exam

(Lehigh Acres)

Before getting the exam prep course I failed my exam 2 times. I finally passed the NCSF exam. I think this is the best thing I paid for.

Passed NFPT On The First Try

by Shannon
(Tennessee)

The review course definitely gave me more confidence going into my exam. It also helped to gain knowledge of the subject matter on the test and helped me to study for it in a very organized way. If I didn't have access to a computer I just reviewed over my e-book version which I had printed out. I would highly recommend this review course to anyone and for the price it is very well worth it.

Testing in Progress

by Dave
(Spokane,Wa)

I feel that the information is very valuable. I have noticed the questions do pertain to Nasm's information. Most if not all are very precise. The information is there but worded in a possible way that might show up on test. The practice test questions you get with the Nasm content is OK but i have found that most of the information is not in their practice area. The audio content you get with Nasm is a starter point, but you have to keep listening and playing it every chance you get, BUT at the SAME TIME you need to read the book.

The information here is also a good learning tool. i have learned many new things just answering the questions wrong. My average answer rate is Failing the test but as i go through the information i am also learning. so when i do go back to retest (the practice test) i will have a better understanding as to why i am answering the question correctly.

So far i REALLY RECOMMEND this practice session, and keep it for future reference. I purchased the Practice test many Months ago.... dont remember..... and now i am going through he material. At first purchase i was not sure and very leery of the test question material, but i have confidence that i will pass the test. I have also purchased other material relating to trainer information, and this has helped. Taking the Basics to a further standard is the best choice i can do. The trainer material i have purchased is GOOD but i wanted better then good and more advanced information. In order to succeed you have to better yourself and figure that you will be encountered with many situations that you wont know off hand and to tell a client you dont know but i will get back to you on that, is really not professional, as for the client is trying to determine if you are trust worthy and knowledgeable.

The price of this material is WELL WORTH IT.....YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG!!!!

Your not a doctor but you have to think like one in order to become good at what you do.... and with time you better yourself.
I have encountered many personal trainers that are not knowledgeable enough, but if they took there education to a higher limit they would better themselves.

With the information you learn take time to look closely at people as they walk by and notice the posture, from front to rear and side view. ask yourself why they might be leaning from side to side, or head protrudes forward, notice the dominant hand and legs movement, are they conducting a compensation for injury, or a sediatry life style? The one Important factor i have learned is Cardio resportory system, Is two separate Systems, and this needs to be addressed before prescribing a cardio plan. Weak upper torso is going to lead to more problems and you will not see results other then a very discouraged client.

So longer story short By the practice test and Learn from it

Count me as an EXTREMELY pleased customer!

by Tess M.
(Tennessee)

Hi Katie!

I found your site via a Google Search when I was trying to decide which certification to pursue. The information on your site was extremely helpful in narrowing my choice, and combined the legwork I did in my area, I feel like my decision was well-informed and a good fit for my goals.

The feedback from other trainers and exam candidates has also been very informative. I bought your Exam Prep Course on the strength of your online reputation, and your money back guarantee-- as well as the fact that $24.95 wasn't a terrible amount to wager if things went horribly wrong. ;-)

I found that the course and test format was laid out extremely well, and the pages loaded quickly even on my archaic dial-up connection. The material is extensive, and is a far better tool than the rather pathetic Sample Test provided by ACE in their study package.

I used the course repeatedly, along with my other ACE materials, and took the Certification Exam on 12/2/08. You will not be receiving a request for a refund! I scored 674 out of the 800 possible, which I was very pleased with, considering I don't have any sort of exercise science education.

I credit your Exam Prep Course in large part for helping pass the exam, and I'm sure I'll continue to find your site useful as I begin my career. You'll have my support, and I appreciate the way you do business!

Thanks for everything!
Tess M.

This prep works!!!!

by Trissa
(Newton Falls, OH )

I wasn't sure at all how the exam was going to be going into it. I took the ACSM exam and read comments about it being a very tough exam. This prep made it possible for me to be as ready as I could be with questions that were very much like the questions on the exam! I passed with flying colors and I owe it all to this course!

Nervous about the exam

by Jon

I've been studying the NCSF exam prep course for several months. Since I've been answering those questions with about 90% accuracy, I was feeling confident about taking the exam. However, after reviewing the sample questions on the NCSF website, I'm not so sure any more. Those questions seem to be so much more difficult. Just wondering if others who bought the exam prep course and took the exam were adequately prepared. I can't afford to fail. Thanks

Being nervous is normal
by: Katie - Admin

Hi Jon

Nerves are normal. These exams are intimidating.

We have a very high pass rate for this exam. We rarely have to give out a double your money back refund because the course does a good job of preparing you.

Keep in mind that we are not selling identical questions. We can't do that because of copyright law. However, we provide 750+ questions that cover the same concepts as what you will find on the real exam.

The most important thing is to understand the core concepts. The exams are always changing so you need to be prepared for a variety of questions by knowing your concepts.

Good luck!

- Katie

I want to thank you Katie for your system and your input. After three tries, I passed the NASM exam today. Your practice exams were the key to my success. I have started my own personal training business, and everything is going well. Thank you again.

NESTA Exam

Hi Ginny,

Congrats on passing your test!
I just scheduled to take my exam in 3 weeks. Any tips or suggestions you can share? Anything you wish you knew more or didn't expect?

I Passed my Nesta Test Yesterday--my tips
by: Goddess

I Passed my Nesta Exam yesterday and I just posted a long list of tips on this forum.

I called it I PASSED!My Nesta Exam Tips (something like that)... here's some of what I wrote on there:

I passed my NESTA exam yesterday! And I know I wouldn't have been able to pass it if it wasn't for the online exam prep course (the one on this site). I luckily found it 2 weeks before the test and since then I've been studying its material.

What I liked about the prep course:

Some questions were questions on the exam
Practicing taking tests on the computer helped a lot
The questions helped me figure out what I still needed to focus on and review

About the NESTA exam

There were no fill-in-the-blanks, only multiple choice questions. There is a calculator on the computer you can use. They give you scratch paper to write notes on and do calculations on for the test, you can't bring your own. You can't bring water, watch, etc into the exam room.

Other things that helped me pass the exam:

Watching the videos (included in the NESTA course). I watched as many as I could the coming days before the exam to refresh my memory...

Passed NESTA

A lot of the questions from the online prep course were on the NESTA exam. There were some questions not covered in the prep course that were specific to NESTA such as their method for exercise application. 32 bucks is a great price to ensure you pass the test. I was very pleased with the product. I would still encourage somebody to buy the NESTA study materials, but having the online prep course is a great supplement. In fact it also aided in passing the ACT online certification exam as well. Great material!

Very Valuable Program

I just started using the exam prep course this morning. It is incredible! I am so thankful that you have developed this "program." I'm using the text from AFAA "Personal Fitness Training - Theory and Practice." When you are unfamiliar with the vocabulary and have not taken a course in Anatomy and Physiology the detail can be overwhelming. Your quizzes have helped me clarify and learn to focus on key concepts!

Thanks so much!

NESTA Sample Exam Questions

by Jimmy Cormier

I am 53 years old and took my personal fitness test yesterday (NESTA)..just wanted to say that your exam guide was the only reason I passed this exam. I had a limited amount of time to prepare for the exam (2 weeks). Read and studied my NESTA materials and really reviewed your info and quizzes several times...thanks..I ran across your site while searching for sample test questions....
