Interview: part 2

by Nicole
(Tx)

I passed the initial interview, now the next interview is to workout the man who will decide my fate (hire or not to hire). I have never trained before, any helpful tips?

Added note: He's going to call me the day before the interview and let me know what's not sore (as he'll be doing this with all the prospects).

Job Audition workout

by Jill
(Atlanta)

When a gym wants you to do an audition workout how much time should you account for? Should you start with assessments, stretches, warm up and then hit some resistance training? Does anybody have a good sample plan that has worked well for them? I guess I just don't know how detailed to make it!

Thanks!

Personal Trainer Job Audition

by Jonathan

I've been called for the third time by a gym, which is a good thing. I've had two interviews so far, but the next time, they told me it will be an audition.

My question is, what should I expect from this. What should I prepare.

I would really appreciate a few of your wise tips.

Thank you very much.

Job Interview before Getting Certified

Hi, I am interested in becoming a personal trainer and had an interview today at Bally's they are having me come back for a 2nd interview in just 2 days and I have to do a personal training session with one of their men personal trainers, I am not certifed yet nor have I even studied so for me to try and come up with a good session I really don't know where to begin. Please help with how I should start the session from beginning to end.

They also want me to take a 100 question test. If anyone has a link to study for Bally's personal training test, I am not certified yet so unsure what to expect.

thanks for your quick response,

Angie

hey me too!
by: Anonymous

I have an interview coming up very soon and I haven't been certified or studied anything either. After I got the interview call I've actually spent a few hours today studying this site (thanks Katie!) and I can say I've learned quite a bit. I'm thinking I'm going to ask the person who hires me what he/she recommends in order to become certified. I signed up for the ACT personal training certification so I'll mention that in my interview too. Good luck!

How was your 2nd interview?
by: Anonymous

How did your second interview go? How was the 100 question exam they gave you? Did they say they want you to get certified soon? What did they recommend and/or say? I'm dying to know (:

What should I expect from Part II of my interview?

I met with the HR Recruitment Team and passed the first interview which involved about an hour of questions and learning about the position and the gym itself. I now have to meet the Manager for Part II of the interview process. What should I expect? Will he ask me to work out or do a mock training session?
