Safety of in home personal training?

by Rachel
(Brooklyn, NY)

Do any PTs ever worry about their personal safety in regards to in-home personal training? It seems like you are putting yourself in a vulnerable position by going into a stranger's home for a one-on-one session, especially female PTs. Does anyone have any advice, experience, anecdotes related to this subject, or am I just being paranoid?

I'm wondering about that too. Maybe only train women?
