Study Guides For Sale Didnt Help

I was very nervous and unsure about taking the test. I had purchased a "study guide" from a website that I found on google, and after printing it out, I quickly saw that it would not help.
*** Editor's note: we have removed all references to the Morrison Study Guides due to complaints from several people. This was a main factor in our decision to develop our own exam review course. (More Info) ****
This study guide was several hundred pages, which was senseless, as I could just study the NASM text if I wanted to read that much. I looked over the content and it was really the same stuff in the text, so I returned the guide for a refund. It didn't help at all.
The biggest help to me was to just go through the material like they say to. Follow the guide, which I think says to study for an hour a day. Answer all the questions in the text, answer all the questions in the review book, use the flip book, watch the videos. All of the material is there.
The hardest part for me was the anatomy. The test didn't cover that much, but to grasp all of the anatomical names was too much for me. I still don't know them very well.
In concept I understand the postural distortions and what causes them, but I'm still not solid of the exact names of the muscles that cause them.
I would say don't buy any study guide. Just be serious and go through the material. Take your time. I took over 3 months!!! But I passed, and I finished the test really quickly!!!
Its a good cert to have, its highly regarded, so give it your best!
Best of luck! Aron Rightious, NASM CPT www.you-win-fitness.com
