Watch the NASM DVDs, Take the Practice Exams

I just took and passed the NASM exam after 2 weeks of studying. I don't have a background in health or exercise science, so I needed those two weeks. All the information you need to do well is contained in the DVDs and the Overhead Squat Assessment chart. Study and understand those and you'll have the knowledge. I took the practice exam multiple times and it really helped me feel comfortable with the types of questions asked. They give you 120 minutes for the test--took me about 35 minutes. There were no major surprises, and the advice on this site--know definitions and percentages, numbers, and OPT model--is sound.
