What about working for "Crunch" and "Equinox" health clubs??

(North Hollywood, CA)

I've read ALL the reasons not to work for 24 Hour/Bally's/Golds but no one has brought up Crunch and Equinox. Have any of you been a personal trainer for either company? Please lay out the good and the bad and the ugly.

Crunch/Equinox

I met a few people at a seminar that said Crunch pay is good, but doesn't offer health insurance and Equinox pay is not so good, but offers insurance.

Crunch is awesome

I work out at crunch and Im pretty close with most of the employees, all of them love their job. Crunch treats their employees well and pays well also. I am trying to get a job there but unfortunately no opening... I'm actually sitting waiting to be interviewed by 24 as I write this... Haha
