Client Organization Issues

I have been a trainer since July of this year, and already have quite a few clients and I'm having trouble keeping track of what I am doing with who. The gym I work in also requires us to make customized workouts for our clients for the days that they do not come in to train with me. I have some clients that come once a week, twice a month, twice a week... etc. So is anyone currently using a good system that makes it easy to keep track of what workouts which person does and when? Thanks for any suggestions!

Organizing Clients
by: Matt Jackson

The best way to organize your clients-in regards to their workouts-is to have an extra copy of what they do on what day for yourself as you give the other copy to them. I run my own personal training business and I always give my clients a copy of what we will train on the day of the appointment and a copy of the regimen for the remainder of the week. I always save copies for myself so I don't do the same workout twice with my clients. As to measuring progress, assessments and such-I always have those records with the client's info in separate files so I can review them whenever I conduct an assessment to see how they are achieving their results. Hope this helps!
