$800 for recertification cost?

by Kari
(West, Michigian)

Hello,

Very interested in pursuing the ACSM personal trainer or group trainer cert. Wondering how is the re-certification cost coming to an estimate/total of $800.00?

Also wondering about accreditation, found at the moment the personal trainer is NCCA certified but the group exercise instructor is still in the works of becoming certified. Curious as to if anyone has heard anything lately regarding the possibility of the GFI becoming NCCA accredited soon?

Thank you much Kari

Costs are estimates
by: Katie

Hi Kari

The costs on our site are estimates based upon the amount of CEUs required for recertification and the average cost of those units from the cert provider. You may be able to get CEUs from outside organizations to cut your cost.

ACSM is well respected. I wouldn't worry if the GFI exam isn't accredited yet. NCCA accreditation takes many years to achieve.
