Coopers Test Failed twice

by Cheri Wheeler
(McKinney, Tx)

I have taken the Coopers test twice now. I attended the four-day workshop last August, '10. Studied the manual for six months (on and off). Took the test in Feb. missed it by 11 pts. Studied some more, took in again in May. Came up six pts. so was five pts. away from a passing, 70%. I am going to purchase your study question package and pray this will help me. According to my scores, I am having trouble with the Exercise Prescription and Goal Setting, mostly the Exercise Prescription. I think it's due to the intervals. I have been working out for 30+ years so I know what I'm doing and know how to change all the variables and such. Coopers is a hard test. I think it's the wording on the tests. There is also a very fine margin for errors. Anyway wish me prayer and luck.

I am now on my third attempt to take the Cooper test. It is the most difficult PT test I have seen. The wording and the Exercise Prescription is extremely difficult. There is only 60% pass rate w a 71 grade avg.

this will be my 3rd time taking the exam. 1st time I thought I could breeze through it, second time made a mediocre attempt. This time, I've dedicated a lot of time (40 hours or so). From what I remember the exercise RX was def. difficult and thus have it down for sure for the next exam.

I passed, finally!!! Definitely put in the time in ALL the aspects outlined on the cooper website and you'll do fine. I put in at least 40 hours of studying just to make sure I dont fail for the 3rd time. The test was certainly easier.
