Pass the NASM Exam (2/9/2012) Today!!

by Pete
(New York)

I have to say your certification Prep Course helped me passed the exam. Most of the questions were on Stability. Know your definitions from the NASM Study guide. Alot of my questions were right out of the Study guide. I didn't get the chance to read the book, luckily I have a background in the medical field. The tools I used to pass:
1. NASM Study Guide
2. Certification Prep Course
3. Medical backgroud
4. NASM DVD videos

I forgot who posted the things to study but it was helpful. The Prep guide was worth the investment.

This site was a great idea. Very helpful. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that your doing a good job with what you are doing here. Now that I passed my exam, all I have to do is find some clients and I am good to go . Thanks a lot.

NASM-CPT Prep Course. 1 Question.

by Andy
(PA)

I remember reading someone saying they liked doing Nasm's prep exams because it gets you used to their type of 'wording' to a question if you keep doing it over and over. Does your prep exams follow this similiar way ?

Style is important
by: Katie - Admin

Hi Andy,

We try to make our practice exam questions as realistic as possible. And sometimes that means having some ambiguity to the questions. This can be frustrating to some people because they think we didn't provide enough information, or there is too much information, or there is more than one right answer. All of these things happen on the real exams so we try to get you used to it as much as possible.

To better answer he questions and concerns
by: Anonymous

People need to remember There are seven different tests with some variance in each questions.... do the program and be better prepared, no matter what. No such thing of too much info..RIGHT?
33.00 dollars is better then 300.00 and then some for the actual Organisation you go thru. You really can not lose any thing.... You are Gaining.... I know from experince.....

Passed NASM-CPT

For the NASM-CPT test I felt like a lot of the questions in your prep were not covered on my exam, but it still helped. Particularly showing WHY the answer I chose was wrong. I was not passing a lot of the exams in your program, but I think it was because enough of the questions did not fit the NASM material exactly.

I still passed the exam on my first try. My biggest piece of advise for the NASM-CPT is use the study tips they provide you - I literally studied the tables, charts, concepts that they told you to study and everything I studied was on the test. No surprises. I think your program is a nice supplement, especially for the price.

Passed NASM, thanks

THe practice test and quizzes are great but should not be your only source of confidence for taking the real exam. I was scoring 95%+ on the practice exam and all of the quizzes, and I still found many questions on the real exam that made me stop and think. The big advantage you have is time. Don't burn your brain up on the first pass when taking the exam. Go through the exam the first time spending no more than a few moments on any one question, and just answer them as best as you can. Then go back (you can do that) and reread all the questions and answers and make sure you feel good about your choices. On this second pass, 'flag' any questions that you don't feel confident about. Then on your third pass, just review your 'flagged' questions and that's when you can really torque your brain for the answers. This is what I did and I pass, first time. The key is to stay calm and use your time as that's your friend in the exam room.

NASM CPT Exam
by: Anonymous

Took the exam today and did I not feel confident going in to testing place; knew everything pretty well but didn't feel I really "knew" it enough to pass. As you have read previously, take your time and don't freak if you don't know the answers the 1st time through-plenty of time to go back and re-read questions. Not trick but a bit ambiguous-worded differently then what you study in book. I went through the test 3 times from beginning to end and caught 2 or 3 questions that I answered wrong initially.
Study everything that everyone has previously stated but most importantly remember to take your time and go through your answers before you finish

NASM CEx

(San Antonio,TX)

I passed my NASM CPT test last Friday and I used your questions as an additional study guide. It was very helpful.

Do you have the same type of program for the NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist exam?

passing NASM exam
by: Katie - Admin

Hi Rachel,

Nice job on passing the NASM exam.

Currently our course is targeting the CPT exam. The basic knowledge you gain in the CPT is applicable to other advanced exams but our course does not focus on these specialty exams.
