NASM or Cooper's Certification

(Dallas, TX)

I have narrowed it down to NASM or Cooper's and thought you could tell me which direction you would go if you were me. I know Cooper's is more hands-on and was a great reputation locally (I live in Dallas). NASM also has a live 2-day workshop and prices are comparable so what do you think? I'm leaning towards Cooper but I really don't have a clue. I'm a stay at home mom and I'm not even sure what exactly what I will do with this. Probably not a gym setting but I can't say that for sure. I am interested in helping other moms or people out of their homes. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Liz Lemaster

Cooper is fantastic!
by: Emily

Hi Liz,

I can tell you that I had an EXCELLENT experience earning my certification at Cooper. I drove from Kansas for it. It was recommended to me by my KenPo instructor. His ex wife earned her certification there and had wonderful things to say about the experience.
I took the 4 day series of courses and then took the exam that same week. I had already read the manual 3 times before attending the classes and still learned so much more during the courses. That being said I would not want to take the exam without taking the courses. To me you just do not learn enough by only reading. The hands on component is essential. The instructors are amazing. I recommend Cooper 100%
