Do I need the ACE study materials?

by Vernon

I was hoping you could give me some advice on a study guide. I was going to do the personal trainer exam with AFAA and had already purchased their study guide but have changed my mind after seeing your website.

I am now going to go with ACE certification. Can I study for the ACE exam with the AFAA book or do I need to get the official ACE book? I am just trying to save some money if I can.

Thanks for your advice.

Use the ACE materials and others for best result
by: Katie - Admin

You should definitely use ACE materials to prepare for the ACE certification exam. AFAA and ACE put emphasis on different material. No matter what exam you are preparing for, it is best to study from at least two sources. I know that can be expensive, but keep in mind you are preparing for a new career not just an exam.

I did same thing

Exact same thing here but just started studying with the Ace materials. Their study workbooks are very helpful even if the outline is different.
