I am locking down this thread from further postings because it has turned ridiculous. PLEASE DO NOT POST A COMMENT. It just saves me the trouble of deleting it.

Less than one day after a reader posted a NEGATIVE comment on this topic, I received a cease and desist letter from a law firm that claims to represent this organization. I am no legal expert and don’t want to pursue this matter over principle so I have edited out all the comments that may be considered opinion.

I have also posted a copy of the cease and desist letter (see the visitor comments link below) so you know what tactics this organization uses to quell discussion of its products and services. After an entertaining read, I suggest that you check out some of the other certifications listed on our site and join the healthy discussions of those programs (which include both positive and negative comments submitted by readers).

Sorry that I can’t fight this on principle, but I want to stay focused on our mission of helping people build their personal training businesses.

NHAB Personal Trainer Certification
by: Anonymous

Will this NHAB personal trainer certification hold water? How does it compare to NASM, ACSM, etc. Has anyone heard of it before? What does NHAB stand for, I'm really having a tough time finding any info about it on the Web.

Thanks!

Here is the cease and desist letter we got from NHAB because of some of the negative comments on this page. It came to our technical advisor with the subject of "litigation action".
