Corporate Personal Trainers

by Max
(Salt Lake City, Utah)

I've noticed that the gym of a major corporation I currently work for is barely used. I'm currently attending school for my NSCA-CPT and would like to know if there are very many corporate personal trainers? And what are some good ways to make the pitch to the business? I know there is a definite interest, because the business is health care based. I would guess at least 350-400 people work in this building. Please give me some ideas to get started on the right track!

JUST SOME IDEAS.
by: DAVE

IN THE FIRST INSTANCE I WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU APPROACH MANAGEMENT WITH A BUSINESS PLAN. SUCH A FACILITY IF PROPERLY RUN COULD ACT AS A STAFF RETENTION TOOL. OF COURSE STATE THE NECESSITY OF PHYSICAL FITNESS AND EXERCISE. I WOULD EMPHASISE THE INVIGORATING NATURE OF EXERCISE, THUS LEADING TO A MORE PRODUCTIVE WORKFORCE.
